Ashwaubenon spends ten months a year being defined by what happens on Sundays in September. August is the exception. For a few weeks, the village belongs to the people who live here, and the map that matters isn't the parking lot around Lambeau. It's a walkable loop between Hy-Vee Plaza, Holmgren Way, and Mike McCarthy Way that has quietly filled in over the past eighteen months. If you moved in before 2024, some of this is new to you too.
Thursdays already have a plan
The Titletown Night Market has become the default answer to "what are we doing tonight" from June through late August. The market runs Thursday evenings all summer in the shadow of Lambeau Field, with live music from a different local band each week, food trucks, on-site restaurant specials, and stalls from local artisans. It sets up on Hy-Vee Plaza at Titletown, across from Lambeau Field, with local vendors, food trucks, live music, and beverages.
Two things make it worth the walk over from the neighborhoods east of Ridge Road. The vendor lineup rotates, so a Thursday in early August isn't the same market you saw on the Fourth of July. And the base of Ariens Hill turns into the seating area once the sun drops behind the stadium.
If you skipped it last summer because you assumed it was for tourists, that read was wrong. The crowd after 7 p.m. is heavily local, and the food-truck rotation now overlaps with the same operators who work the village's separate food truck rallies on other nights.
The cheapest weeknight out is still a Rockers game
The Green Bay Rockers play in the Northwoods League, the developmental league for elite college baseball players, and their home park sits at 2231 Holmgren Way in Ashwaubenon. What the schedule looks like this month is almost more interesting than the baseball.
The August homestand kicks off with the Rockers hosting the Wausau Woodchucks on Monday, August 3, first pitch at 6:35 p.m., gates at 5:30, free hot dog night and Bark in the Park. Then the pregame concert an hour before first pitch is performed by Dani Maus Duo. That is a lot of programming stuffed into one Monday night, and it's a fair template for how the club builds a week.

The ballpark has quirks that outsiders miss. The distance from home plate to right field is 282 feet, and the right-field wall is made from shipping containers listed as 19 feet, 19 inches in a nod to the Green Bay Packers' founding year, though it's actually 22 feet high. That short porch is why a Rockers game runs faster and higher-scoring than most college summer ball you've watched elsewhere.
August also flips the venue into something different at least once. Megadeth plays Capital Credit Union Park this August, with the Rockers partnering with EPIC to turn the ballpark into a concert venue. If you have never been to a concert in the outfield of a ballpark that seats 4,000, this is the version of it that fits inside your normal Ashwaubenon week.
The pour room that reset Mike McCarthy Way
The Stadium District spent a decade being a place you passed through on the way somewhere else. That changed in late January.
District Pour Haus opened at 686 Mike McCarthy Way on January 26, 2026. What it actually is: a 3,400-square-foot venue with 48 self-serve taps, allowing customers to pour their own drinks at their own pace, plus a full-service kitchen serving freshly-prepared meals. You get a card that works as an open tab and can pour as much or as little as you'd like. The tap list mixes local craft breweries with breweries that haven't really been available in Wisconsin, including Yuengling from Pennsylvania.
Two details from the owners are worth holding onto. Owner April Smith has said she and her husband are trying to bring something different to the Stadium District, creating a space not just for football fans but for people attending concerts and other events at surrounding venues like the Resch Center and Epic Event Center. And the restaurant sits on the first floor of a five-story apartment building. That building is the point. Mike McCarthy Way now has residents who live above the restaurants, which is why the sidewalk feels different on a Wednesday night than it did in 2022.
Around it, the new-to-Ashwaubenon list keeps growing. Mountain Mike's Pizza opened its Ashwaubenon location last fall, locally owned and operated by franchisees Jasmeet and Ranbir Shergill, who also own locations in Bellevue and Greenfield. Dave's Hot Chicken is on Oneida Street. Million's Crab brought a Cajun seafood room to 2800 S. Oneida St., open until 9 p.m. on weeknights and 10 on weekends. If you keep a mental list of "somewhere new to try this month," it's the longest it has been in years.
The older anchors haven't gone anywhere. Hinterland Brewery still holds its patio at Titletown. The OC sits at 465 Marina Lane on the Fox River. 1919 Kitchen & Tap runs 80 beer taps with nearly 40 rotating types inside Lambeau. What has changed is the walk between them.
Ashwaubomay Lake after the workday
The lake is the one August routine that hasn't required a press release. Residents flock in August to summer concerts, food truck rallies, and swimming at Ashwaubomay Lake, and Capital Credit Union Park is home to the Northwoods League and Rockers Baseball. That's a one-sentence summary of most August evenings for families who live within biking distance of the beach.
A couple of practical notes for the back half of the month. The village's 2026 Spring and Summer Parks and Recreation brochure is available and covers programs and events, which is where the Concerts in the Park and food truck rally dates live. And the village is currently taking bids for brick removal and concrete paving along the Ashwaubenon Marina Walkway, with bids due Friday, August 14 at 9 a.m., so the marina side of the river will look like a construction zone once that work starts. Worth knowing if the marina walk is part of your evening routine.
What comes after Labor Day
The reason to pay attention to August is that it sets up the fall calendar, and the fall calendar in Ashwaubenon has more on it than people who moved here five years ago realize.
At the Resch Complex, the schedule already includes events on August 20, August 23, August 27, an event running August 28 through January 9, 2027, September 10 through 11, and September 18 through 19. Farther out, Weird Al Yankovic is bringing his BIGGER & WEIRDER Tour to the Resch Center on Friday, October 16 at 8 p.m.
The Ashwaubenon Performing Arts Center is the venue most residents underuse. Tickets for the Cornerstone Jazz Orchestra go on sale August 6 at 11 a.m., and tickets for all other shows in the season go on sale August 14 at 11 a.m. TicketStar, located at 820 Armed Forces Drive in Ashwaubenon, is the official ticketing services provider, which means you can buy at the counter and skip the fees you'd pay at a big-name resale site.
One structural thing has shifted at the PAC that's easy to miss. Displayed ticket prices now include all fees, so the price you see online is the total paid at checkout. Small change, real difference when you're comparing a PAC show against a downtown Green Bay option.
The thesis in one paragraph
If you have lived in Ashwaubenon long enough to remember when the Stadium District was mostly parking, the summer of 2026 is the one where the neighborhood finally starts behaving like a walkable district on non-gameday nights. Thursday belongs to the Night Market. Monday and Tuesday belong to the Rockers. Wednesday belongs to whichever new room on Mike McCarthy Way you haven't tried yet. The weekend belongs to the lake, the PAC, and whatever is on the Resch schedule. None of that existed as a coherent week five years ago. It does now.
When the neighborhood becomes the reason
